Introduction to Lixin University
Shanghai Lixin University of Commerce is an institution of higher learning under the direct jurisdiction of the Shanghai Municipal Government. It was established in 1928 by Dr. Pan Xu Lun, a famous professor of accounting and education, who is still credited with being the “Father of Modern Accounting in China”. In its development of over 80 years, Lixin University has been advocating a “3-in-1” model combining education, research and practice into its educational curriculum.

“Sound basis, broad scope, and emphasis on field work” is the feature of its education. To develop high-level professionals who can meet the needs of the business world and also possess initiative and practicality, Lixin University has set up over twenty industrial and research bases, among which Pan Xu Lun Certified Public Accountants Co. Ltd. - the largest accounting firm in China, as a primary internship base for its students.
