About Lixin University-AIA Program
The Association of International Accountants (AIA) was founded in the 1928 as a professional accountancy body and from conception has promoted the concept of ‘international accounting’ to create a global network of accountants in over 85 countries worldwide. As the China Representative Office of AIA, Metro Education is responsible for the promotion of the AIA International Qualification Program, AIA training and examination as well as the management of AIA membership in China.

Since 1997 when the AIA Part-Time Program was established, Lixin University-AIA has nurtured many professionals in the financial and accounting area and has improved their competitiveness in the industry. Subsequently, it established the Full-Time Lixin University-AIA “3+1” Degree Program in 2005 to promote career in the financial and accounting industry among High School graduates in China. This program was established to nurture students into future international accountants, auditors, financial analysts, risk controllers and business managers so as to capitalize on the economic progress of China. Starting in the Year 2010, Lixin University-AIA established the “2+1” Degree Program to further improve education pathways for students who want to pursue careers in the accounting, finance and business industry.
